Can I stem this rising tide of complacency Or will a new order take me away Will I develop a new philosophy of pageantry Or will I resolve into adieu and melt away Tapa Create something from nothing in this life of ignorance Tapa I'll break it down just to build it again Tapa Bite down in this spiritual teething Tapa With wisdom that's seething And I seek to explore the subtle turnings of this anxious mind Is this truly a curse Or just another cycle of life Tapa Tapa With wisdom that's seething I sing this world into being And I breathe the vows of the prayers of old To steal back the attention that I so freely sold To give the compassion that I wish I'd known I walk this path of dharma alone No eye, ear, nose, thought, body or mind No knowledge, no realization For there's nothing to know, nothing to attain All is gone
