Autumn hills beyond the lake The branches sway with ease For nestled in the background Are the mountains graced with trees The lake is still at sunset For the clouds swim swiftly by The ripple's true reflection Asks not how, what, when or why The golden sun is magical The ground and water meet The sky is an oasis And the mountains a retreat For magic lingers in the air And gold reflects the skies For waiting steady underground The golden phoenix's rise
