Fighting Dragons

We put on our armor to gear up for life We're facing the days not to live, but survive Making a limit of the sky We look up at the dreams, but they're too high to climb But we raise the mountains from plain ground (in our mind) Spending our time like it's too late Fighting the dragons we create Until we control the flames We make up a god to protect our soul And then we are bound to phantom goals (in our mind) Turning fiction into fate Fighting the dragons we create Until we control the flames We can learn to ride them We can learn to fly them over any wall Or just ignore them all The more we fight them The more we ignite them Open your eyes and then they're gone We're soldiers without a cause One day our dreams will be awake Flying the dragons we create One day we'll control the flames
