I remind myself to breathe, every now and then Can't be stressin' bout the leaves when they grow again In a world where no one leaves, energy recycled What a vicious cycle, have you learned a lesson You thought the pain would lessen, but with more knowledge added Confessed your own depressions, Expose your true oppressor The ones that view you lesser, Wouldn't matter if you didn't too So every now and then, I gotta love myself no more than God But well enough to know that love is real, I notice how I feel Couldn't let you know that I was healin', But yet you knew it You seen it in my spirit, wouldn't listen, But can feel it So every now and then, I play the bad guy, the bad cop, the bad joke The crowd hope it don't cry, I don't lie, Well sometimes, but this time it's all wolves Where the sheep at, where the leap at, Over the moon Take a deep breath, there is no deep space, Just other rooms Have a good rest, you dream of a space, Another tomb Heard you met death, now done with the race, Another womb Happy birthday, just one birthday, then nah, nah Don't do the rest, until you're born again Ooh, such sweet loveliness Ooh, such sweet loveliness Ooh, such sweet loveliness Ooh, such sweet loveliness I'm trying to do this in the calmest way possible, but I'm a little frustrated I have a peace of mind, yes, I definitely do But it is a spiritual battle, and I am battling With that being said, I understand that we don't wrestle with flesh and blood You know, it's definitely a spiritual battle Dealing with principalities and all that, all that I can't quote it out the book right now, but if you know, you know what I'm talking about So, when I say this, man, I'm really, truly, genuinely I'm happy I'm happy But one thing I have learned, just, you know, in the Bible, just like, it shows you With knowledge comes great grief It's real, because once you, once you allow yourself to love, you know, like genuinely And like, honestly, like, that's when you got to take in that other side of it You got to be able to understand, like, okay, this can result into hate if I don't, you know, cultivate it well enough Like, it is, you know, and it's just like, that's the thing Grief is one of the worst things that I'm feeling right now Because I love a lot of people, but my grief is that they're not going to make it where I'm going
