The Grove

I stopped at The Grove of the States Pulled up next to a bikers' gang I remembered I had been here once in high school A school trip we'd taken And then there was that other time You and me on the highway, you were drivin', and racin' Yeah, you paid for that when the patrol sirens came And I believed I knew you better back then Than any other friend I'd ever known Yeah I can leave, and I can come back again but I knew you better When the sirens were on.
