Searching for an explanation to get me out of bed And I can't even understand half of what was said I wanna do something that's never been done before Before I'm no longer a young man in his twenties Trying to hold on to something Anymore How can I be forgiven for my sins When I wasn't the one being crucified for them? I'll sit around the house and ponder my existence Was I meant for some sort of higher purpose? Now I don't think we were meant to suffer through this And I don't think life gets better than what you put into it And now I'm Airing my Grievances here on repeat Trying to pull my own ideas from someone that isn't me God or the Devil sent me a vision of July covered in snow A little taste of home When I opened my eyes I wasn't even surprised to know I am on my own Searching for an explanation to guide me through my life I know there's plenty out there but I don't know what is right So I'll just keep counting the reasons to believe Some people reject humanity But not me
