Hanukkah in the City (Radio Edit)

Hey, um, not to make it weird, but, um This is my first Hanukkah in the city 8 nights of oil 8 nights of LEDs Kids getting spoiled Singing songs of Maccabees Everywhere you turn There’s magic in the air Some of it is Christmas stuff But I don’t even care Cuz Hanukkah in the city Is so so so so pretty Hanukkah in the suburbs Ain’t the same Hanukkah in the downtown Is what we’re living right now And I’m a little nervous too Cuz it’s my first Hanukkah with you You’re lighting the menorah I can tell it’s your first time You’re acting self assuruhed When your eyes lock into mine Every time you breathe There’s something around me Maybe I’m making it up But maybe it could be Hanukkah in the city Is so so so so pretty Hanukkah in the suburbs Ain’t the same Hanukkah in the metro Is something I’ve never known And I’m a little nervous too Cuz it’s my first Hanukkah with you Hanukkah in the city Is so so so so pretty Hanukkah in the suburbs Ain’t the same Hanukkah at the bus stop When you look at me my heart stops Hanukkah back home was not the same Oh, Hanukkah back at our place After we’ve locked the doors And I’m not nervous anymore
