Value of Knowing Christ

Every time I think of you I can't help but thank my God Whenever I sit and pray my requests are made for your joy And I'm certain it's true Gods good work in you won't stop Until He's back one day and returns to finally silences hurts noise Honestly man I'm in prison I've been hurting before but this different I've been sinning need deliverance Seed of the serpent reborn in the spirt I've been dreaming with selfish intent But the thing is it's all a dead end I know His love is one that'll mend My broken pieces belonging to Him I'm blessed I know So whenever I act low Intimidated by my enemies I trust it's a privilege to be suffering Cause we all struggle with Christ yeah That's exactly how I am comforted Just remember be a light in our crooked world Try and be that point of encouragement I wanna go home and be with you But I'll trust that if there's breath in my lungs There's still fruit to be found Here on earth right now So I'll find the joy in serving you The value of knowing Christ Nobody could set a price Our relationship is so precious Makes everything else look like garbage Relying on what You did for us Is the only thing that makes us righteous I could have my life looking textbook Still miss out on the power of your love So instead of striving for perfection I'll seek out that constant progression You inspired through your grace and affection So everlasting is my taste of heaven I want to be one with you Even if that means sharing In your suffering too 'Cause you're worth all the pain And you felt mine when you came I wanna go home and be with you
