Smoke flourishes slowly From buildings of grey making noise Across the canal I see A man pulling ropes to tie up a swing Why, where did you go? I drove all over town I made it out the snow globe Became a fly buzzing around My wings clap hysterically I miss ever being inside Even if the world is small You made it seem so large And now, you are gone And the silence you bring Makes it seem true, what they say That you die more than once Looking at the sidewalk Writing the bible in your head But who are you to complain?
