This morning I awoke with nothing in my throat No preconceived notions to allude me And when I climbed the stairs The sun blinded me there There was no way of seeing through it And when I walked to my car I realized I parked too far I should have parked closer to the moon And when I came back home From getting coffee alone I scratched a Kia Forte silver in the driveway God bless the day You went away There's nothing left for you to see And when the sky laid down and died There's nothing else it could have been Well you know I've sailed the roads And I've spit across the big white sky And you know there's nothing wrong And you know there's nothing wrong at all
