Neighborhood Funeral

It's gotten to the point of the Funeral Where everyone's stepping on dandelions Because nothing deserves to live if they couldn't They all said you wanted revenge But I knew you wouldn't And it was held up in a house On top of a hill we all knew Could barely get my bike up it, but Up for you I flew Up for you I flew Up for you I flew And I stared down at all the cars passing by It looked like rain And it felt like death but I couldn't cry, cause That would only be in vain That would only be in vain That would only be in vain And when I leave you on the hill To let them see you where you lay I'll let you say goodbye To all the things you couldn't save People that didn't stay We can't always be saved
