Ain't it funny how time changes Watching these days burn so slow Wondering why my minds aching Your expression starts to go Ain't it freaky how our hearts race Another sign that began to show I Wanna know where my place is In the middle of it all I really wanna stall a second just so I can mark what's happening We can then reflect 'cause recollection is heaven Embrace me like a blessing 'cause I find that I am stressing You brought me back the weight and I'm elated for that lesson Pardon my expression there's no reason for delay The past is catching up it's like history on replay Afraid of getting older like a boulder in a lake Erosion from the ocean like emotion that I take I just can't see myself getting better I just can't see my self getting back there I fall in and out of love again I can't go back to the beginning I lost some people then I found some In an opposite world I flee All I say When I weigh out the outcome You're exactly who I need I found my strength in numbers My own circle that I sewed Future problem I predict a relapse Now it's time I think I'll break the mould I got some courage from the ones who lived before me They're digging out a message for me that they kept in storage To live the life of happiness I guess I can't ignore it Focus on yourself and then your life like you endorse it Time is not a game and there's no blame if you don't chase it You're always where you need to be in place you better face it It's a feeling in your chest and in your mind when you save it Don't forget your past 'cause alas you must embrace it I just cant see myself getting better I just cant see my self getting back there I fall in and out of love again I cant go back to the beginning
