This place seems so absurd This conman promises the skies These suckers eat up every word And imagine my surprise When as I take a look around I see the hope inside their eyes And now they miss the facts of where we are Because they resent the truth They sit there and they choke some more And I can't take this shit I tried to disagree I tried to warn the shepherd's sheep But then they went and turned on me Imagine all his lies The pulpit bullshit that he spat To keep their hopes so centralized He preys on fear of death He calls it "love" And he views them all as weak He breaks them all to fit his mold And I can't take this shit I know that he's a "godsend" I know that he's a "good man" But he finds "salvation" in the backseat of his mistress's car He likes to tell his jokes at the expense of common folk And he laughs at all your problems because he stole his way out of his own How do you not see that you follow a thief? The devil leads the blind and that's apparent to me But I came to watch his empire burn Because this place seems so absurd And I won't take this shit
