Facing the Dragon

The pain is searing Down from my veins Taking me under as I feel this pain Lend me a hand, pull me through Help me to find, to see past this ruse My innards exposed Falling all over, soaking the soil beneath my palms Soon I'll be gone, I'll be taken over The dragon's eyes will take me lower It's taking me down Driving me under Dragging through the filth and scraping the bone The grand flicks its tongue Leaving me none Down it's throat the deed is done
