Final Glance

I know so many people Who's parents all died out Or left or sat alone I know that you're not magical But when I think to you How did you make it to where you are? And when I take My Final Glance at you I want you two to see That you did great with me And even though My dreams are far I'll never truly leave I will come back to you Again, and again and again I can't put a frame on the moment I'll go But I know, how close, it's coming way too close Someone tell me, is there something I should do, with about 3 months to go I don't know if I'll miss out But when I think of All the things that you've done You didn't take a day I've lived here every day And oh my god, If I've got to clean my room Hug my brother goodbye After all this time I've spent, making it feel at home And when I take My Final Glance at you I want you two to see That you did great with me And even though My dreams are far I'll never truly leave I will come back to you Again, and again and again Cause holy cow, you still drove with me I could have spun us out You never taught a course before Sheesh, you never, get to sleep in Put a lock to all your plans Cause it takes all your hands Taking care of me Cause how did you manage to get perfection The perfect level of your imperfection Cause you trust us to be good people above all else And when I take My Final Glance at you I want you two to see That you did great with me And even though My dreams are far I'll never truly leave I will come back to you Again, and again and again Cause you taught us to choose to be Good people
