Wrong

I touch down in a whole new town That's when I start to feel the nerves But I said I'd keep my head on straight And take it slow around the curves. Put my best foot forward and don't look down I'm so blessed I didn't swerve But tell me how to count my blessings If they just don't feel deserved. Started thinking 'bout the road I traveled on Changing for the better the whole way along I made it to the end a whole lot stronger I'm moving on But if I try to find this pride of mine The ride don't last as long. Every exit sign takes me off my line And sings someone else's song So don't lie if I'm just by design The kind to say I can't go on. Am I better off just admitting I don't belong? Or can you tell me I was wrong. It feels like only yesterday I said the waves were tall. But when I reach the crest, I sway at best Before I fall. But this is all a test, of course I'm set at your beckon call. I only want a rest, that's all. But I was paraded and shown off, I didn't have a choice So I became another one of the world's new toys. Poked and prodded at until I made some noise, I hate the noise and now I'm Reminiscing 'bout the road I traveled on, Naming my regrets the whole way along. So what if I became a whole lot stronger?
