Cause you're sweet, green and gullible, Crazy and colourful, You're just my kinda girl. I supply the hyperbole, Semantic embroidery To wrap around my baby. And I can't stay away from you, It's just so hard to do Cause I'm in love with you. You, you turn me right into French velvet (powder blue) All when you say you love me too. If I can't back it up, The words, will they be good enough? Take my empty love, Sweet and tender but In the end it's just Bus station poetry. I'm not what I used to be, Detached from reality. Honey bee sweet, Trusting and weak, You're green and you're gullible.
