I Am God

Some people say Lord where you are Some people feel their hope is gone Some even say what have I done wrong To deserve feeling alone But then I hear a voice say You're my child, you're never alone I am God, I am God Some people say I'm not good enough Some people say I've made mistakes Some even say how can he love me Does he hear me when I call But then I hear a voice say You're my child, you're never alone I am God, I am God Sent down my only son That's the way I showed my love - I'm God I was bruised, beaten & abused Humiliated just for you - I'm God I was forced to carry my own cross To a hill where I would give my life - I'm God Nails in my hands and feet Pierced my side to set you free - I'm God With my final breath I thought of you And I did it all just to prove - I'm God The grave couldn't hold me down Cause I promised I would be around - I'm God I am God, You know I will never you alone Never leave you alone
