Captain Yet

Sometimes when I’m learning new things I feel frustrated, I can’t do anything! When I need a rescue, there’s one thing I can bet— Things will get better when I call on captain yet! I can’t read this book… yet! I don’t know how to cook…yet! When things are new, it’s hard, it’s true, but I won’t forget I can do most anything when I believe in yet! Riding bikes and doing new tricks, Learning to sing a song or to multiply by six, To build a fort or play a sport, or count by twenty-fours, When I believe in Captain Yet, I’ll do all this and more! I can’t read this book… yet! I don’t know how to cook…yet! When things are new, it’s hard, it’s true, but I won’t forget I can do most anything when I believe in yet! When I’ve been trying for a long long while, I’m getting better slowly, but I still know that I’ll Need to keep on working, I’ll need to persevere. It might be hard, sometimes things are, but captain yet is here! I can’t read this book… yet! I don’t know how to cook…yet!
