Happy You Stayed

I kept waiting for my prince charming My forever baby, darling Yeah I haven't found him yet I got a bit impatient With God's perfect timing I tried to rush the process Don't do what I did Instead just take your time And trust that God will provide I know that can be so hard to do but I've got some faith in you God won't let you down You'll be happy for the wait When you go on that perfect date You'll be thanking God everyday But while you're waiting for the one Let me tell you something fun God is perfect in every way Although it's hard to wait Think of the positives And how you have God every step of the way God knows the best for us So just give Him your trust He'll give you them when the time is right I thought a boy would fix my heart And my brokenness Yeah that was very, very false It was really God who helped Make me whole again He helped me get through my faults So wait for the one God knows when they'll come Just lay it all in His hands When the timing is right God will send them your way And you'll be happy that you stayed Only God has the ability To make us who we are So just keep your focus on Him for now He'll give you that person eventually When you just stop looking So sit back and watch Him provide Watch Him provide
