Tough Times

I thought he was different Boy was I wrong He broke my heart into A million pieces I didn't know what to do Why'd he put me through this But it was for the best I can clearly see that now Although it was hard It helped me find God So thank you to him For breaking my heart I was so far from God I blamed Him for my mistakes Then I realized That I'm the one to blame I was confused at the time Why'd God let him walk out of my life Then He showed me the truth Something out of my sight I'm worth more than that A boy doesn't define who I am God is my Savior Not some boy I met online It was hard to see him leave When times just got tough But God will always be there No matter what God always does the best for us Even if it doesn't make sense So lean on God in times of need And He'll help you through it I wish him nothing but the best I hope he has a good life I want him to find the Lord Like I did, like I did I don't hold a grudge For what he put me through I just want him to find the Lord Like I did, like I did Yes, there will be tough times This was just one of mine There will be many more But that won't change my mind That God is so mighty good We should talk to Him everyday He will help us in these tough situations Like He helped me, like He helped me
