Secluded Delusion

I lay alone at night, resting from this torturous day I fall to blackness Never to get away This evil haunts me, in my dreams it is real Takes me away, to the deepest chasms of my brain Suffocating Dislocating my sense of self My reality lost and gone I have no control Darkness The silent captor of my nights Steals my movements leaves my sight Leaves me stranded in my mind My sweet slumber, torn asunder Raging demons of the mind This crushing demon, it feeds from my soul Feasting forever, out of control Until at last comes, the warmth of dawn It ends my nightmare, returns my soul Suffocating Dislocating my sense of self My reality lost and gone I have no control Darkness The silent captor of my nights Steals my movements steals my sights Leaves me stranded in my mind
