Fearless Resignation

Woke up, looked out of the window And saw the morning sun So I opened it and smiled Into the blinding light And felt it's warming sight Stepped out of the door And noticed that I was alone In the street I stood Empty as the sky But not as blue and not as high And all I see is rain And thunder all around And all I feel is pain Outside I went by And saw some shadows fly The shadows they were young As the morning sprung And the dark bell rung Those distant sounds came near To hide in my vacant head When they finally arived I could start to hear How they settled in and said We are at home And all I see is rain And thunder all around And all I feel is pain And all I see is rain And thunder all around And all I feel is pain And all I see is rain And thunder all around And all I feel is pain And all I see is rain And thunder all around And all I feel is pain But myself was not at home And I felt it was time to go So I left the rain and clouds To lighten up my face And went back to my sunny place (Sunny place)
