Atlantis

We're drowning in time, must mean we're alive, treading above pixelated waters Looking for missing numbers, surfing unknown coasts, the edge of the world on our own Here we all are, oblivious and marred, already dead, floating through Ethernet Riding the waves and the tide with smoke in our eyes on top of tectonic plates There is no Atlantis, the ocean is empty. Lost in the abyss and it feels so heavy Floating towards the floor, food for the fish, it doesn't matter and it never did Now don't be scared, you're almost out of air, but we all drown eventually Frame by frame, it plays itself out like a water-damaged VCR Each moment predetermined, yet so uncertain for all of those alive And here we all are, chasing money and power, dropping dead, outlived by the Internet And so it goes, we'll never know what the truth was There is no Atlantis, the ocean is empty.
