Standing at the water's edge, taking this step of faith Following my Savior's pledge, His promise to embrace Down into the cleansing flood, rising to new life Washed in His precious blood, made free in Jesus Christ Waters of new life flowing, waters of God's grace showing Buried with Christ in baptism, rising to walk anew Just as Jesus showed the way, at Jordan on the shore So I'll follow Him without delay, my faith in Him to show Waters of new life flowing, waters of God's grace showing Buried with Christ in baptism, born again in His kingdom, made completely new Dead to sin, alive to Christ, born again new life Walking in His righteousness, free from guilt and strife Let the whole world witness now this act of faith divine As before, my Lord, I bow and make His promise mine Waters of new life flowing, waters of God's grace showing Buried with Christ in baptism, born again in His kingdom, made completely new
