Bored and flat broke

Each time I look all around me I see this place so differently It's time I got myself together it's time for me to leave Although I don't know where I'm going And I don't care All the good times are behind me Bad times ahead I look down from my window I see them pass my door It's time for work, but that reminds me I have no job any more And if I look into the future And I don't see very far Well, that's because there's nothing out there So all my life, I'm in a jar These of all the things I've ever had To hold and to keep Please give to me any excuse Not to be unemployed Maybe I'll walk the dog Maybe I'll go window shopping Maybe I have no dog Maybe there are no windows I had a talk with the landlord He didn't seem to want to hear He said he'd just had the last word And threw me out on my ear And now as I walk the pavement I realize I'm alone But that's the least of my troubles Now I've got no home
