I'm sweepingthrough an empty field The sun has lit the evergreen I'm drifting inside A breeze is flowing through my hair The river murmurs as it bends I'm floating behind So tell mehowI'msupposed to stop No I don't want to drop There's so much for me to sit and watch What a lovely view I'm breathing in this feeling one more time A taste of life with my own mind I'm taking in the moment through my eyes The birds are still here singing The wind is blowing on I feel a gust begin to swell A silent tempest I must quell I'm feeling just fine Fighting all my creeping doubts I push away the rising cloud This day is still mine A turbulent gale from within It crawls down my skin There's no one to stop the light going dim What a lonely view I'm breathing in this feeling one more time A taste of life with my own mind I'm taking in the moment through my eyes The birds will still be singing The wind will still blow on The mist is taking over me I'm reaching for my hazy dreams Won't I take flight? The suffering, the worrying Life was passing in a blink Can I have more time?
