King's Tale

I heard a story Of great endurance He was a soldier He was a king During the battles That he took part in He fought the soldiers Of other kings And once As he struck a foe The sun shone As he struck a foe There came an arrow Slicing the stale air It hit the target And thus fell the king Then he was carried Before the people The people looking Onto the king Soon-to-be-titled Was standing by him And tears were streaming Onto the king And so As he's on the throne The country doesn't moan They don't even sigh All along The river endless Flourished the nation The nation of woe Just because something's hard work Just because you have failed before Just because you feel weak now You still need to find your way to the throne
