There's a child staring across the waterAs he sights his forgottenTears flow from his hideous faceThe face that has lived through the hell of his raceThe time is lost as he sights the moonThe music is sweet,he begins to swoonThe water is rising,washing away any evidenceOf the failures & ruins,the destruction of manThe taste of salt in his mouthAs he stares at the emptiness left in the southHis body is numb,unfeeling to this deathHe dies with three sixes engraved on his breastNow there remains only the water,just a fragment of sand,& the blood on the altarHas flowed through the generations of blindnessAs they prayed to their symbols of peace & kindness
