Bathroom Mirror Pep Talk

Weary eyes will awake Just like any other day With the curtain drawn I feel the sun Shine upon my face Shoes are laced For the daily race The race that i've been running all my life Falling in and out of phase Stare right through the coldest gaze The mirror reveals a  strangers face A mere reflection of better days Gradually slipping away Unbutton my shirt Take off my tie To what i once was I'm leaving...without saying goodbye
