I enter the room, you look at me I can't help myself, this is alchemy Breath on my breath and I feel blessed I take off, as you take off your vest As you tear at me There's nowhere I would rather be Your heart's singing my heart's melody One more surge and we are done You say "Sweetheart, this was a lot of fun" We're now dressed, and I'm depressed What you just said got my mind all messed As I look into your eyes Fear is all I see And still hear your heart singing to me You're afraid to starve and therefore you refuse to eat You're afraid to choke and therefore you refuse to breathe You refuse to drink because you're so afraid of thirst You kill a part of you because you're scared that you'll get hurt And so I shed a Single Tear I lay to rest the love that's killed by fear But I fear not, 'cos love's divine And a love like ours can never die In the empty darkness into which you cast my soul I see it in your eyes, you still hear the call And you take the fall For Love conquers all!
