Wondering if I should get away Running like I'm livin' on the freeway I just need everyone to slow down Maybe, we can slow down Looking for some guidance in my steps To figure out which pieces to connect But I don't see anyone around here Maybe, they all found a way out Nothing I can see but these white walls Staring me down (Me down, me down) As I run around Confide in your beliefs if you want to Well, I found my peace of mind, but you've had a hard time So I thought I'd give you just a piece of mine I can't waste time Any more thrown out the door would for sure be Nothing but wasted life It'd be divine if gravity wasn't holding me down So I could learn to fly I don't want to watch my passion fade Just take a look at everything I've made here I promise that I won't make that mistake here Maybe, I'll learn my place here Asking all the questions that I can If I can learn to love and understand I need to know so I can make a plan here Maybe, we can escape the city lights Knowing what I can and I can't do Drives me insane (Insane, insane) What more can I say It's hard to really know if it's all true Can I have my space?
