There's a place that she goes every day alone Far away but it felt just as close as home People smile and they laugh, they have a blast But they'll never really know her In the midst of the sun when they have their fun She is praying alone but they have begun They laugh and they gasp they said "girl you done" Boy she dreamed they didn't know her Their eyes look down on her and Tell her don't believe she Hoped there was a way she Could disappear oh They push and push and she says "What did I do that was wrong" She doesn't deserve this You gotta stand up and show them Who you are and make them See that they are in the wrong You are worth it oh don't Be discouraged Just stand up and tell them You are strong At home her parents know that she cried a pool When they ask she says "nah" then says "i am cool" Then she thinks oh "why did you lie you fool" She shoulda shoulda told them They'll understand but she can't she is scared they'll laugh That they'll tell her it's nothing and send her back In her mind they don't see that she was attacked But they really do know her "What should I do" she racks her brain "I'm used and tired I can't" Take any more of this Out there she's put down and in here She's misunderstood "Please see me for who I am" "I'll stand up, show them" "Who I am they'll see that" "Under all this weakness" "Is a girl who deserves better" "Once I tell them this is" "Me I won't change for you" "I matter too so just" "Leave me alone" In the end She did everything she could If they don't see your kindness They don't deserve your love She's ok now She's confident in herself Cause she stood up After misery You are not worthless just Cause someone is envious You have a life to live that will Be full of love and friendship Don't be nervous just stand up and show them Who you're meant to be You'll never be any different
