Echoes of the embers Beckons me I grit my teeth Blistered hands clenching Bitterness churns The blackness to bile Shaking staggering With visions of exile Burning anything that will ignite To steady the signal Breaking off bits of the bulwark To appease the pyres light Soot blankets my surroundings Blackening everything in sight Ashes dance down taunting I will be the end of this place This wretched asylum will be nothing but char An inferno awaits The earth will boil By the heat of my blood Gripping tight Iron fist glowing A nightmarish hellscape The crucible scar Burning and burning Blackness steals my surroundings The pyres gluttony engulfing Burning anything that will ignite To steady the signal Breaking off bits of the bulwark To appease the pyres light Soot blankets my surroundings Blackening everything in sight Ashes dance down taunting
