12-Bar Blues I walked into a fine establishment, looking for a drink to be poured When I sang karaoke, someone brought me a drink, and said 'Boy, I hope you sing some more' I had another beer, and proceeded to sing my encore An hour had passed and I was lookin' for another flop I pulled into a spot in a honkytonk parking lot That was bar number two and I was nowhere near ready to stop 8 bars later this song was still going strong I found bar # 9 and I was doing just fine, doing All my favorite songs Onto bar number 10, time to do it again, Man I just could go wrong Took a bus down the street and got something to eat, after 11, things start to get blurred A pitcher was poured and I sang some more, not the prettiest thing you've heard Then came Bar #12 I thought 'What the hell', but I couldn't remember the words One, two, three, four bars, and I'm ready for more Five, six, seven, eight bars, point me to the door Nine, ten, eleven, twelve bars-call me a ride for sure One, two, three, four bars, and I'm ready for more Five, six, seven, eight bars, I can't find the door Nine, ten, eleven, twelve bars, scrape me off the floor!
