Dear mom This ain't appreciation Its more than that You've been my queen Dealt with all my problems Especially my past When i got depressed You were everything I had Been by my side since the day I was born I was kid a with issues Cried a lot I needed tissues I'm upset that I always disappoint you I'm hoping that you Understand No one can ever take your place You've always had my heart And that will never change Just like my destiny It's meant to be taught me to appreciate no matter what I called myself a failure you said I'm heaven sent Gotta repent to everything I did When you heard I had epilepsy You prayed about it every night Hoping that It would go away I was thinking bout the stress I've been giving you I'm hoping that you know uve been my hero Taught me strength and joy And bought me my first toy You we're the angel in my dreams When I turned 14 i started smoking weed Then you got so mad at me And you told me stop it G Then I stopped immediately When I turned sixteen I dropped a nice sixteen You told me follow your dreams This be a letter to my mom She's the reason why I wrote this song She taught me what is right and what is wrong This isn't a goodbye just appreciating you You're my angel and that's true I've been mentally disturbed since birth That's the reason why different People treat me differently I live with a disability But am I glad I lived a normal life Before it came Working really hard in the stu I've been working hard at school But it was never for me I wanna pursue my dream Mama I hope you understand Haven't been a perfect kid But what's the use if I was perfect I wouldn't have been able to learn what I've learnt I've made mistakes but I've grown because of em I'm a bigger man and i finally understand Why you were working so hard Wanted to make sure that we eat You been my leader I'm just following the lead I'm just following the lead yeah This be a letter to my mom She's the reason why I wrote this song She taught me what is right and what is wrong This isn't a goodbye just appreciating you You're my angel and that's true
