I've been thinking about the time, I first saw your autumn eyes How you travelled down my spine Till your world and mine aligned I could taste the alkaline And your colors in the sky They diffused and amplified Till the grey inside me died You smile like you are awake Dusky, dreamy, dark delight so profane, so polite You provoke an appetite When you pick a god to fight I can smell the smoke and pride When your teeth and mine collide We weave a trail of blood behind And drag around an endless night You smile like you are awake But I feel the air around you shake Though I'm known to host a heart derailed It's such a shame, it's just a game
