I feel the heat beating down From this midafternoon sun throughout This trek through these winding trails I feel like the sky, so open and clear Reflecting my mind, it's an ideal To leave is to lose, to stay is to live I feel the night winding down As the dawn rises from the east now I can rest my eyes, as the town returns to life I feel like a bird, so calm and yet free Reflecting my mind, as true as can be To leave is to lose, to stay is to live
