No Man Left Behind

The mission begins in the darkness of the night Soldiers marching through the fields with no enemies in sight Guns in hand as we crawl through the sand to prepare the final fight Go move ahead were the words they said before the sacrifice The day has come our duty is done to make them pay the price The tables have turned and it's something we earned to stand up for our rights The vision is clear our brothers are near in the brisk of dawning light But when we all look behind only there we will find all the men that were left to die So we wave our flags in the air When the night comes down And we raise our fists to the sky When the war is done But we make sure in the end There's no man left behind United we stand locked down in their sights The only thought that runs through our heads is to break down enemy lines But under the circumstances we had to flee the scene Empty spaces within the field but what does that really mean?
