Dawn

I wait for the day to begin The sun creating rivers of light on the windowsill My coffee cold at room temperature I've come so far just to turn around once again To find there is beauty and pain in every place All I want is the dawn And I don't care from which world it comes A change simply must come through, cause them the rules But how will we greet that foe? with woo or woe? Inviting people in for tea makes friends and vampires don't exist I look down at the grounds at the bottom of mug, thinking 'that's quite enough' And I crack my back and open the door, cause I want I want to live and that's what the world's good for All I want is the dawn And I don't care from which world it comes All I want is the dawn And I don't care from which world it comes
