I was too fake, too late Like an old man, in his old age Like a bad dream and I can't say Nothing but There were bad days And I switched up man I changed Raised up from a good home (Good home) Daddy was a preacher Mummy was a teacher Believers, believe that (Believe that) We went to church every Sunday Prayed everyday and my life it was okay But I never had connection And sin creeped in like infection Infected my life and I had misconceptions And all my obsessions Infected my mind and then fed me illusions Delusions and all my emotions were twisted All for the purpose of making me Everything that I ever hated And I never tasted the freedom, was trapped in my mind I wasn't myself all the time Like I was possessed and I couldn't see out of my eyes Like I never tried and I know I died And although I cried but nobody heard I was lost And right there You were And right there You saved me Took all my pain Knew I was hurting And took me away But I was a sinner How could You do that?
