It all started like thisNinth grade freshman yearSo happy to be in high schoolI shedded a tearSo many cute dudes to choose fromI knew it was oneThat was right for meWell I thought at leastHe was the big guy on campusOn the football teamBasketball homecomingHe was voted for kingAnd there was meI was on the cheerleading squadSweet six-teen looking for love in my heartIt was a beautiful thing from the startI must say only problem wasMy parents was strictThey ain't playNo phone calls after eightNo staying out lateI'm like dam give me a breakHormones kicking inStart displaying my shapeMore concern with my looksThen my books and gradesHeaded no where fastI was on my wayCuriosity come onI know yall relateIt's been a year now I'm a sophomoreMature and know moreBut still I'm young and dumbAnd plus I'm unsureWho I amWhat the future has in storeMan I'm trying to be grownCuz my parents now divorcedI took a charge to roll with Dough BoyMoms tried to force me to move to New YorkBut of course that plan it fail shortShe found herself caught up in courtFor child supportDrama problems of all sortsStressing started smoking new portsCarefree about the ones who care for meLost teen giving up on my dreamAnd as worst as it seemsHad me thinking crazy thingsLike suicide that better everything if I jus dieFullblown without guidance or a homeI'm startin to get stomache painsThat's strange what could be wrongWhat do I doI ask myself everydayA child given birth to a childWhat can I sayThis wasn't suppose too happenHere I am turned my back on my famWell god damThis wasn't even part of the planI'm spazzin outWhen I lay down at night the hurtJust burst out I shout how could he leaveAt my time of needEspecially now I'm pregnantAnd due in threeMaybe I should have itAnd give it for adoptionI can't graduateI aint been to school since augustOften I hear this voice talkingIn the back of my mindSo problems in my lifeI just pray for my time to comeGod take me leave my child behindI'm on the run adrenalin pumpinSo angry I could kill somethingDon't make me prove itCause if you don't do itThen I will do itI'm foolish and so stupid
