A Need

When I say I need you it's not just for the second I need you everyday without you my life is reckless Don't wanna have you as a schedule or a checklist Like God you can wait till Sunday but man that's so selfish I'm just trying to be honest I'd read the Bible for like three days and my life's "OK" Then I stop and I have a world of Problems It's like it's so easy to sin but to read your word or talk to you I need to loose an arm and a leg in the process Some days I wish I can just stop what I'm doing And truly have the strength to just not even do it I really believe I can with the power of Yeshua But I end up doing it anyway and blame it on being human Yeah I know we make mistakes I'm not saying to become perfect The only Perfect that lived He died and rose and we became purchased So if you can relate and you have really been hurting You're not alone you no longer have to carry the weight of this burden Empty my heart it just feels Empty God I need you and I feel like I'm walking down a road without feelings Ive been here before so I know that I need healing So empty Jesus protect Me I believe in your love and that it brings comfort Unfortunately this life has really did a number I remember my first rhyme and I remember being baptized I remember my public proclamation to never backslide But who was i kidding I was just lying to myself Crying to myself you can't buy happiness! but happiness brings you wealth And I'm not talking about money I'm talking about family I'm talking about friends and those who understand me I'm talking about support in your lowest moments When your vision is blurred someone to bring you back to focus I know this doesn't come easy I gotta work for it But y'all don't believe me it's tough to try to stay noticed These lyrics you probably won't ever read em Y'all just waiting for the beat to start (breath) Breathing I need a take a minute reflect on my life in the past year have I really did anything In it I need to take a breath take a step back in my path figure out where I need to put my foot next But S.B.G.
