All believers pray to the very same with a different name A different face for every place (please stop the wars) She told you once, she told you twice And Mama Nature won't ask thrice There are bullets flying and children dying Listen hard 'cause even God is crying If you're from the human race, you're amazing and despicable You're sensitive, sensible, sarcastic and smug yet so easily trickable! The world keeps spinning 'round Like no other intelligent life forms can be found But if we'd only look around Intelligent life forms us surround But we're so far off the ground We think we can survive without them around (but we can't) With so many maniacs in power It's not like times are forgiving We gotta get it together now! These days it's easy dying, it's scarier living! We can never make it if we're only gonna break it - stop the wars! There can be no mistakin', homo sapiens only rape it - stop the wars! Mother Earth won't take it since the A-bombs tried to shake it - stop the wars! 'Cause now nothing's sacred as we grapple with our hatred - stop the wars! Coward or a hero, martyr or a victim - what's the cause? Tsunamis the tail, the hunger the claws Poverty's the face The plague's the human race The way we treat this place You'd swear there was another Earth to take it's place And we could all step off the face and start anew But actually that's not true All the children say "daddy don't go away" Soldier don't blow away another life - you know it's not right You useless, swivel-headed idiots You racist, sexist, ageist bigots Are you the soldiers, or the bad guys, or the suckers?
