The un-fillable void Can't see it when we're young too filled up with joy Then we grown up and we feel like we need something more Perhaps a lover or possessions we've opened the door To the multitude of choices that we can explore Why does the beauty of free will sometimes feel like a chore It's like we're searching for that thing that's gonna make us whole But until we looking within I guess we'll never know I've been in that place before where I've been feeling trapped By circumstances wondering who's really got my back But then I started making changes and I realised that Knowledge of self and presence was all that I really lacked Had to let go of all things that were no longer serving The growth of my spirit to support a higher purpose Now I stand firmly in my power daily I affirm this I went from emptiness to empty of the need for searching Looked within and found it lurking Empty We are never empty Even if we seem to be Just look closer and we'll see The power that we seek We are never empty Even if we seem to be We have everything we need Abundance is a mindset that does wonders Have you seeing blessings you can't quantify in numbers You be learning lessons, feeling thankful for those blunders Rising every day and spreading light just like the sun does Empty We are never empty Even if we seem to be We have everything we need
