I've been molded by failure From my first memory I've taken all the world can give And turned it into misery There are things I've seen and done No man should endure Redemption is a fantasy My poison has no cure I kneel before the darkness And feel it in my bones Prostrate in my desire To be at peace in the unknown I kill me With my desire to live Forsake me I have nothing more to give Suffocating fury Disemboweling dread Funerary practices Worshipping the dead This experiment in terror Is waged upon the spirit Created to destroy The last shred of my humanity Facing the terrors of the abyss All alone in spite Learning the lessons of failure My weakness turned to might I kill me With my desire to live Forsake me I have nothing more to give I kneel before the darkness And feel it in my bones Prostrate in my desire To be at peace in the unknown
