I've heard stories from my parents of a time when Nigeria was better I've also witnessed times when things were not this bad Looking at the past few years, from the end SARS protest, Lekki Toll gate massacre, bad governance and economy, even the ASUU strike I don't know if I'm still hoping for better days Because I try not to think about the situation of the country No one really knows the answer to the question, will better days still come I think we just hope it doesn't get worse 2023 came with a whole new era, and it hasn't been any better, honestly, it hasn't Everyone is for his or her family at this point There's this saying going round the country It will favour my family, my loved ones, and I I think that's what everyone is chanting in their minds right now What I know is, we are Nigerians, we are strong, and we will survive God help us
