Blurred Vision

Used to have 20/20 vision Now I'm getting beaten into submission Now both of my eyes are missin' Things should be better but then again I'm wishin' I got blurred vision, I can't even see With the thrill and the high, I'm lost in the sea I don't know myself, I can't even believe That I lost myself, now I'm in slavery And now I'm so unstable that I can't be me And I'm beggin' to the lord with both hands, please I don't care about the thousands of G's I just want to open my eyes to reality Let me be I’ve been blinded by the lights and fame I’ve tried so hard to be a part of this game I’ve rapped so hard that I could do this shit in my head And yet I’ve never ever ever seen an ounce of bread I’ve been every place from LA to the IE I’ve been locally known but still I couldn’t see What I was doin’ wrong, was I tryin’ too hard Or was I bein’ fake with the bars just to be a star I consume lots of alcohol, I’m tired of the hate I consume lots of weed, I’m tired of seein’ straight I wanna lose myself but you know, the music too loud And nobody even tryin’, I don’t see any crowds I deluded myself into thinkin’ I was great When in actuality I was just as fake As the average rapper tryin’ to make a livin’ Then go missin’ when the hits don’t appear, that’s the system And we trapped in this 24/7 Until the day we die cause there is no end Gatekeepin' the scene doesn't make you great Peace and unity will eliminate the hate I'm just sayin'
