Scorching temperatures are everywhere Scorching temperatures are everywhere Scorching temperatures are everywhere Scorching temperatures are everywhere Now it’s hot outside, above 100 degrees It feels like an oven, you’re constantly sweating And to add to that, the ice caps are melting Yeah, you may die because the heat is sweltering It didn’t used to be like this before But since 2017 we’ve been sweating through our pores All because the corporations want to pollute Even if we gave a hoot, they’d still poot and toot For the buck at hand, they don’t care at all This is their plan, make money during the downfall And make it so that we’re all dependent on them This is a nightmare, when will this end? Probably not before we meet our mass extinction All because nobody be thinkin’ Of the consequences of their actions Now look what’s happenin’, it’s a chain reaction There’s a heatwave going on across the nation Everybody’s on edge with the frustration Our government is threatening humanity’s foundation And we’re in desperate need of some hydration The heat makes em’ go crazy, that’s an actual fact To the point where they sell out to goldman sachs Go far to the right and live kushy lives While they fight against progress, make the immigrants cry Let’s not forget the women who are strugglin’ With the abortion fight and the abuse by men Who have no morals, treat them like objects Slapping them around, sexin’ them with no consent Where did the time go? I don’t know but they ain’t even passin’ Any bills in congress that could help us all That’s the deal at hand, they’re trying to stall So they can reverse course, strip us to the bone To the point where we’ll be forever be trying to atone For our sins, all because the corrupt evil Converted independent thinkers into blind believers I fear I may be killed for my disability All because it feels like 1933 It’s true, the administration itself are nazi’s Willing to drop bombs like it’s a kamikaze All for their selfish goal of world domination I’m contemplatin’, is there any form of escape?
