It took me a long time to find the light And when I saw the light it was so bright So bright that I couldn't even see To the point where I realized everything There’s a light at the end of the tunnel Much like there’s an end to the hustle and bustle You just gotta work hard to pay your dues Live your life on the right path and see it through There is nothing’ in life that matches up to the light So bright that it blinds people with it’s might Offering knowledge so deep that you might as well cry With its shine so sleek it’ll make you realize That all that matters is life which can be lived Don’t focus on the short term, it just is what it is Value you give is what should matter the most You do the best you can so let’s have a toast To the lives of the future, present and past Hope you can make the most and make it last For the light represents the best in all of us So trust in the fact that you can make it through At the end of the tunnel, there’s a light Inside of yourself, there’s a light At the core of life, there’s a light There’s a light that shines so bright It’s so bright that it gives you enlightenment It’s so bright that it gives you common sense It’s so bright that it gives you happiness And nothing in the world can ever get rid of The light I wasn’t able to see the light Until it was too late, now I’m payin’ the price For my actions, I always miscalculate How much it costs for me to initiate I lost a lot cause it always goes very wrong I use that experience to create these songs As a reminder to myself about the torment And pain that hangs around, I just know how to form it But still I realized negativity doesn’t matter Past is the past, why even bother?
